Mission Accomplished: all the records were broken!

Posted on 06, 1, 2017

The 7th edition of Codemotion Rome is behind us. This years’ edition of Codemotion Rome took place on March 22-25th at Roma TRE University.

More than 2100 software developers and IT professionals attended the conference. Not bad, right? The number of attendees overwhelmed everyone, including us!

… the biggest and the greatest Codemotion in the eternal city!

This was the biggest and the greatest Codemotion in Rome so far! Numbers don’t lie!

~ 2100 attendees

~ 100 Speakers

6 workshops

2 CodeLabs Hands On

20 GameDev and VR projects

Impressive, isn’t it?

The event was opened with a talk entitled “From bots to machine learning: How the 4th Industrial Revolution will forever change how we live, work, play and learn” given by Jose de Castro (Cisco). Nevertheless, it was the closure keynote that left everyone truly overwhelmed! During his inspirational session “Chasing Elephants” Alberto Brandolini (Pragmatic Visionary – Avanscoperta) proved how poisonous the software is without a purpose.

… not only great talks but much more …

One of the missions of Codemotion is supporting startups. As usual, at this years’ edition of the conference, six extremely innovative startups were given the opportunity to showcase their products and network with tech fellows from other companies.

The first ever CTO meeting

The first meeting dedicated especially to CTOs, CIOs and IT Managers took place during the conference. The main aim of the meeting was to create the favorable circumstances to share the best practices related to the Digital Transformation across different realities: companies, startups and institutions.

But the conference wouldn’t be the same without… The engagement and support of the top tech communities as well as the great enthusiasm of the attendees.

Certainly, this edition of Codemotion will become history!

Now it’s time to get ready for Codemotion Milan!

Stay tuned!
